Throughout the years, the DSA has also supported many other community organizations by either making cash donations or providing services and volunteers to help organize and/or work at their fundraising events.
To help us better serve you and our community we share, please feel free to join our mission by participating in any of our events or donating toward our cause.
"The Santa Cruz SPCA is committed to ensuring the best possible quality of life for animals and to promote respect and reverence for all. We strive to prevent cruelty to animals, to stop pet overpopulation, to promote community responsibility and for the humane care, treatment and well-being of all animals through adoption, education, information, and action." - Santa Cruz SPCA
"The Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter began serving the community in July of 2002 when the Santa Cruz SPCA stopped providing animal care and control service to local governments. (The Santa Cruz SPCA continues to serve the community but they no longer provide animal control services.) They are run entirely on donations, and they focus on placing unwanted animals into new homes and humane education." - Watsonville Animal Shelter
"We know that lasting personal and social change comes about when we all work together. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive." - The YMCA
"KOA is committed to great people. That’s why we created community programs that support the Scouts, benefit children with severe illness and empower our own Yellow Shirts, as a way to give back to the communities we love." - KOA Camps
"Located on the Central California coastline, beautiful Santa Cruz is home to California's last remaining seaside amusement park, the historical Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk." - Santa Cruz County Elks Lodges
"Our mission is simple: To build biblical relationships upward and outward. We believe that life is primarily relational in nature, and we strive to facilitate Christian growth upward toward God and outward toward others. We accomplish this in three basic ways: reaching, building, and serving." - Camp Hammer Science Camp
