The Santa Cruz Deputy Sheriffs’ Association is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation composed of current and retired deputies who have an interest in supporting both the members of our association and the communities we serve through education, philanthropy and collaboration. We rely on funds from membership dues and donors to reach these goals:
- To organize our members for the purpose of developing a spirit of cooperation among those who have dedicated themselves to law enforcement
- To secure adequate working conditions, compensation and improve conditions of employment for our members
- To establish and maintain greater understanding, cooperation, and support between law enforcement and the public we serve
- To address concerns and find common goals between our members, administrators, policymakers and stakeholders through ongoing communication, teamwork and legal representation of our members at the local, state and federal levels
